The hatchery is located ¼ Kilometer below the Seymour Falls Dam in the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve. Travel north over Second Narrows (Iron Workers Memorial Bridge) and take exit 22A and go straight through the first set of lights you come to. Alternatively, if exit 22B is taken (the next one) it would be a left turn at the first set of lights. Either way you will now be on Lillooet Road. Stay on Lillooet Road and drive past Capilano College and the cemetery.  The road continues for 3km and takes you to Rice Lake gate.

Driving up
Normally the public is not allowed to drive their cars past Rice Lake Gate but volunteers can make arrangements with the hatchery so they can drive up. Here's how. Driving up is easily  arranged. Call the hatchery at 604.288.0511 and say that you want to come up to volunteer.  The person you talk to at the hatchery will then phone the guard at Rice Lake Gate and will let them know you'll be coming up.  It's just that easy.
